WHY SKILLING?

Skilling is a highly effective means to improve livelihoods, and CWS Foundation is purposely built to provide that experience. CWS has provided thousands of people with hands-on training coupled with the resources to be successful and thrive in today’s job market. When someone takes a chance and learns a new trade or enhances existing skills, it opens up new job opportunities, a greater chance of earning higher wages - essentially creating new livelihoods, not just for themselves, but also for their families and communities. Skilling creates confidence and independence, allowing people to take charge of their own futures. With skilling programs, CWS is not just helping people find a job, CWS is helping people create a better life and shine a light on their communities and encourage positive change.

“My father used to sell vegetables, but during the pandemic everything closed down and he was at home. It came to a point where we would eat only once a day to save enough food for the next day. The school was shut down too, and I was not sure if I would ever go back to my studies again...
